Free Google Advertising for Charities

Sounds too good to be true?

It isn’t.

Google wants to give something back and this is how they do it (and have been for more than ten years): $10,000 USD of in-kind advertising (Google Ad Grants) for charities and nonprofits through Google AdWords.

Imagine what you could do with that funding:

  • Find new donors
  • Recruit motivated volunteers
  • Share your story

What is Google AdWords?

Even if you don’t know the term, you’ve more than likely seen Google AdWords.

Nearly every time you search on Google, these ads appear at the top or bottom (or both) of your search results. Often there are so many, you can’t see the results that weren’t paid for.

But how do you appear in the top results for the words, phrases and questions that work for your charity?

And how do you find out if your charity or nonprofit is eligible for a Google Grant?

That’s where We Are All Connected comes in.

As a Google Partner Agency, we can apply for, set up and manage your Google Ad Grant to help you reach more people and realise your organisation’s vision.

How do we do this? We…

  • check your organisation is eligible for the grant
  • research your target market to spot potential advertising campaigns
  • complete the application on your behalf
  • help you make the case for ongoing management of your Google Grant to your trustees or funders
  • manage and optimise your ad campaigns to get you the best results

Already up and running? No problem. We can carry out a free audit of your Google Ad Grant account to make sure it’s working as well for you as it should.

Want to run it in-house? We understand. We can train and coach members of staff so that in time they can run the accounts independently in-house.

What you need to complete the Google Grants Application

We can take you through the application process step-by-step. However, there is a couple of things you will need:

  • To be registered with the Charity Commission
  • A live website with substantial content (we can help with that part)

What is PPC?

PPC stands for Pay Per Click advertising. You will have seen examples of this on Google or other search engines – when you type in a search these are the results at the top of the page. We run campaigns across all the major platforms including Google, Bing, Facebook, Linked In, YouTube and Google Display Network.

You pay the search engine every time someone clicks on the ad and goes through to your site. When PPC is working well, these people turn into customers and buy products or services from you. Relevant, optimised PPC campaigns are better for users and also for you – the better they are, the less you pay per conversion.
