Lisa Unsworth

‘I aim to nurture the space and the team, to create an environment in which we can thrive and be productive. I manage the office, handle the bookkeeping, streamline our processes, implement tools and monitor our overall productivity. It’s my job to take care of the details, right down to the plants, staff birthdays, or stocking a colleague’s favourite notepads. My work can be invisible – you might only notice it when something’s wrong. We all appreciate each other here. There’s a strong sense of care.

Community is important to me. I’ve been a member of the local co-operative housing network and worked for charities and non-profit organisations for a decade. I look for the common humanity between people; the shared experiences and similarities. I’m motivated to work for positive social and environmental change, volunteering with organisations such as Fork And Dig It and working with Mind. The values here are aligned to my own values. The Internet is a great leveller and enabler, so I’m delighted that we are able to help people to be more connected and harness that potential.’
